Koaiʻa is an endemic tree found only in Hawaiʻi and is the cousin to the famous Koa tree.  This rare tree is found in the low elevation dry lands of the islands and is less abundant than Koa.  Traditionally, the wood from this tree was used for making tools and weaponry due to its hard and dense wood.

Earring length is approximately 6cm measured from the top of the earring post to the bottom of the earring.
