Pono
My original design, named for my hiapo (first born child) Kūpono. This is the design that started it all. This one is called Pono. I was always taught that the true meaning of pono meant balance. Hawaiians never believed in being right, they believed that when things were in balance, things were in harmony. From sadness emerges joy. From happiness comes devotion. From loss, new birth emerges. From weakness, we discover strength. The design of pono has a slight angle, which should be pointed towards your body to bring mana into your heart. These earrings are to bring inner resilience and balance to your life. The combination of two woods that compliment each other, our pono design is a beautiful, bold wearable masterpiece that strengthens your heart.
